Prosecco Unveiled
From Veneto to the World
Prosecco is one of Italy’s most beloved sparkling wines, celebrated for its light, joyful, and approachable character. It originates from the rolling hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where the sun, soil, and altitude shape the Glera grape into its signature aromatic, crisp profile.
During my years as a sommelier in New York, Prosecco was always in high demand. Its freshness and playful bubbles make it perfect for sharing, pairing, and enjoying anytime. Easy to drink, yet full of character, it is accessible without ever feeling ordinary — which explains why it has become one of the most exported Italian wines worldwide, celebrated from rooftop bars to Michelin-starred restaurants.

The Craft Behind Every Bubble
Prosecco’s signature sparkle comes from the Charmat method, where secondary fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks. This approach preserves the vibrant fruit, floral notes, and natural energy of the Glera grape: Charmat ensures Prosecco is bright, expressive, and aromatic — a wine meant to be lively and inviting.
Glera is the dominant grape, but subtle differences in vineyard microclimates, soil, and harvesting techniques create unique expressions. Some bottles are soft and floral, others bold, crisp, and peppery. Curated tastings can be designed to highlight these variations, whether you want a gentle, elegant style or a more intense, character-driven experience.
Prosecco has also found a home in modern mixology. While not originally part of the recipe, the Spritz has become a worldwide trend, showcasing Prosecco’s versatility and playful character, proving that it can shine both in a glass on its own or as a star in creative cocktails.

Experiencing Prosecco in Its Home
In Veneto, Prosecco reaches its pinnacle in the Prosecco Superiore DOCG hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, where steep single-vineyard slopes, called Rive, produce wines of remarkable precision and complexity. Within these hills, the legendary Cartizze vineyard stands out, offering an exquisitely aromatic and rare sparkling wine, while the Asolo Prosecco area brings its own elegance, delicacy, and floral charm.
Visiting the hills of Prosecco is like stepping into a storybook. Vineyards stretch across the slopes, villages nestle between sun-drenched hills, and family-run wineries welcome guests to taste, learn, and savor. Each sip is a reflection of the land, the grape, and the generations of craft that go into every bottle.
During curated tastings, we can explore each of these expressions. The joy is discovering your favorite style, one that you can later enjoy at home, letting every sip transport you back to the sun-drenched hills, winding roads, and golden light of Veneto.
For me, sharing Prosecco is about more than the wine — it’s about bringing people closer to Veneto, its traditions, and its flavors. Whether you’re walking through the vineyards at golden hour, tasting sparkling wines in a historic cellar, or enjoying a light Spritz at a sunlit table, Prosecco invites you to slow down, savor, and celebrate. It is a wine of joy, elegance, and effortless charm, and one that leaves a lasting impression long after the bubbles have settled.
